Junior Accountant
As a leading accounting firm in Dubai, we are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team. This position is ideal for freshers or individuals with less than 2 years of experience in the field of accounting. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting senior accountants with day-to-day tasks and ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior accountants in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and submit tax returns, VAT filings, and other regulatory documents
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Assist with audits as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or currently pursuing)
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA)
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Familiarity with UAE tax laws and regulations

This is a part-time position that requires the candidate to work 20 hours per week. The working hours can be flexible depending on the candidate's availability. We do not provide accommodation for this position.
