Light Driver



Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Light Driver to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a driver and hold a valid UAE driving license. This is a contract job with accommodation provided and free visa and ticket.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely transport goods and/or passengers to designated locations in a timely manner
- Ensure vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition
- Follow traffic rules and regulations at all times
- Plan routes to avoid heavy traffic or construction zones
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods if necessary
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or issues to the supervisor immediately
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers if required

Requirements:

- At least 2 years of experience as a light driver in the UAE (Indian nationals preferred)
- Must hold a valid UAE driving license for light vehicles (manual transmission)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) for effective communication with customers
- Good knowledge of Dubai roads and traffic rules/regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent (12 pass)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if required

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, etc.
- Experience driving vans or small trucks is an advantage
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems is preferred

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time contract job with an initial probation period. The selected candidate will be provided with accommodation near the workplace. A free visa and ticket will also be arranged by the company.

Physical Requirements:

The role involves sitting for extended periods of time while driving. The candidate must be able to lift up to 20 pounds if required for loading/unloading of goods.
