Job Title: Phlebotomist

A reputable medical center in Sakaka, Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified Phlebotomist to join our team. We are looking for individuals who are experienced in drawing blood from patients of all ages and backgrounds. This is a contract position, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood samples from patients
- Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of specimens
- Prepare collected samples for testing or storage
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Follow strict safety protocols to prevent contamination and infection
- Accurately record patient information and test results
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns or questions
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely delivery of test results

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of phlebotomy procedures and standards
- Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory equipment
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Phlebotomy from an accredited program or institution
- Experience using electronic health records (EHR)
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Ability to speak multiple languages
