Housekeeping Manager - Qatar (Indian Nationals Preferred)

As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department and ensuring that all areas of the hotel are clean, well-maintained and in compliance with health and safety regulations. This role is based in Umm-Said, Qatar and our company is seeking Indian nationals with experience in hotel housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the hotel
- Manage and train a team of housekeepers, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and providing guidance on job duties
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all rooms and public areas are up to standard
- Collaborate with other departments such as front office, maintenance, and food & beverage to ensure efficient operations
- Control inventory levels for housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices
- Maintain a safe working environment for all employees by enforcing proper health and safety procedures
- Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping with prompt resolution

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a hotel setting
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, laundry operations, and budgeting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi or Arabic is an advantage)
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Working Conditions:
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50lbs (23kg) as well as operating cleaning equipment. The work environment can be physically demanding at times.
