Logistics Coordinator

As a logistics coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the transportation of goods and materials from suppliers to customers. This role requires strong communication skills and attention to detail to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities:
- Communicate with suppliers and customers to coordinate shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and track shipments to anticipate any potential delays or issues.
- Prepare shipping documents, such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
- Coordinate with customs officials for clearance of international shipments.
- Arrange transportation for goods, including negotiating rates with carriers.
- Ensure accurate recording of all inventory movements in the company's system.
- Manage relationships with logistics service providers to ensure quality service and cost-effectiveness.
- Proactively identify potential logistical problems and develop solutions to resolve them.
- Communicate any changes or delays in shipments to relevant parties.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English. Fluency in Hindi is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of logistics procedures, laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficient in using MS Office applications.
- Experience working with international suppliers/customers is an advantage.

Location: This position is based in Sharjah, UAE.
