Security Analyst - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia



Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Analyst to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security threats to our organization's systems and networks. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in information security and a passion for staying ahead of emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and analyze security events from various sources including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our systems
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends, and make recommendations for proactive measures to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security or related field
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, web filtering technologies, etc.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Knowledge of common cyber attacks such as DDoS attacks, phishing scams, malware infections etc.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred

Skills/Competencies:

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and anomalies in large amounts of data
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate complex technical information in simple terms
- Proactive mindset with a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest security trends and threats

Working Conditions:

- This is a contract position with the possibility of extension
- The role requires working on-site at our office in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
- This position does not include accommodation, therefore candidates must be based in Jeddah or willing to relocate at their own expense
- Must hold a valid biometric passport and be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia
