Industrial Engineer for Manufacturing Company in Lusail, Qatar

As an Industrial Engineer for a manufacturing company in Lusail, Qatar, your primary responsibility will be to optimize the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with the production team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that streamline operations and increase overall output.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct time and motion studies to analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement efficient production methods, including layout design, workflow procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- Utilize statistical analysis to identify bottlenecks and develop strategies to increase throughput.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Monitor production data to track progress and make adjustments as needed to meet production goals.
- Train production staff on new processes and equipment to ensure smooth implementation.
- Conduct regular audits of equipment, tools, and materials to ensure proper functioning and availability.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as Minitab or JMP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within a manufacturing setting.

Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
