Housekeeping Manager


Our luxury hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the housekeeping department to ensure our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement housekeeping standards, policies, and procedures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to all standards and provide exceptional service to guests.
- Monitor inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and place orders as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints regarding housekeeping services.
- Conduct performance evaluations for housekeeping staff and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments such as front office, engineering, and food & beverage to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage department budgeting, forecasting, and expense control.
- Maintain records of lost & found items in accordance with hotel policies.

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage).
- Proven track record of managing budgets effectively.

Preferred:
We welcome candidates from all nationalities but preference will be given to Pakistani or African candidates who are fluent in English.
