Hotel Maintenance Engineer

As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of all equipment and systems within a hotel or hospitality establishment. This role requires technical expertise in various areas such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of all equipment and systems to identify any potential issues or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment such as HVAC units, boilers, plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair any equipment or system failures in a timely manner
- Coordinate with outside contractors for major repairs or installations
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and reports any major issues to management
- Assess the need for new equipment or upgrades to existing systems and make recommendations to management
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment at all times

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel or building maintenance
- Technical degree or certification in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to building maintenance
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a hotel or hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Qatar is a plus
- Ability to speak Hindi or other Indian languages is preferred but not required

Working Conditions:
This role requires working flexible hours including weekends and evenings. The candidate must also be able to handle physical demands such as lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, etc.

Salary:
