Phlebotomist
As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in the healthcare industry by collecting blood samples from patients for diagnostic testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of these samples, as well as maintaining a safe and sterile environment for both yourself and the patient. This position is located in Al-Khor, Qatar and is open to Pakistani nationals who are seeking part-time employment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and explain the blood drawing procedure
- Verify patient identity and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed
- Sterilize equipment and prepare materials needed for blood collection
- Use proper techniques to draw blood from patients, including locating veins, inserting needles, and labeling samples
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during or after blood collection
- Properly store and transport collected samples to the lab for testing
- Maintain accurate records of collected samples and patient information
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Phlebotomist
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency preferred)
- Must have own visa status in Qatar
- Ability to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
