Phlebotomist

We are in need of a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for drawing blood from patients for medical testing, transfusions, or donations. As a Phlebotomist, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner.

Key responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from patients using appropriate techniques
- Label and store samples correctly for testing
- Verify patient information and ensure proper identification
- Keep detailed records of patient information and test results
- Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures while handling blood samples
- Prepare samples for transport to laboratory or storage
- Communicate with medical staff regarding any issues or concerns with patient samples
- Maintain equipment and supplies used for blood collection

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Phlebotomist preferred
- Proven experience as a Phlebotomist
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
