Dental Assistant (Contract Position)



We are in need of a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. As a Dental Assistant, you will support our dentists and dental hygienists in providing high-quality oral healthcare services to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting with dental procedures. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor. This is an excellent opportunity for an English-speaking individual with Egyptian nationality to gain experience working in the beautiful city of Al-Khor, Qatar.

Salary: $1800/month

Location: Al-Khor, Qatar

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are stocked and ready for use
- Sterilize instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols
- Assist dentists and dental hygienists during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and providing other support tasks as needed
- Take accurate patient medical histories and record vital signs
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently
- Perform other administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program is preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
- Egyptian nationality with valid work permit for Qatar
- Ability to work well within a team environment while also taking initiative independently as needed
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures is preferred

Working Conditions:

This is a contract position for 6 months with potential for extension based on performance. The working hours are from Sunday to Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm. Our dental clinic is located in Al-Khor, a beautiful coastal city known for its cultural heritage and stunning beaches.
