Job Title: Senior Petroleum Engineer


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. Our company specializes in oil and gas production and exploration, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to help us achieve our goals.

As a Senior Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing drilling and production activities. This includes conducting reservoir simulations, analyzing data, and identifying potential risks and solutions. You will also be responsible for managing junior engineers and providing technical guidance to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and design drilling programs based on reservoir characteristics
- Develop production strategies to maximize output
- Conduct reservoir simulations to predict performance
- Analyze data from well tests, logs, and other sources
- Identify potential risks and provide solutions
- Manage junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure project success
- Monitor well performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay updated on industry developments and implement best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, production methods, and reservoir management
- Experience with reservoir simulation software (e.g. Eclipse)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other departments

We are offering a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full-time position. Accommodation will not be provided, so we are seeking candidates who are already located in Lusail or willing to relocate at their own expense.
