Physical Therapist - Sports Rehabilitation Specialist

As a Physical Therapist specializing in Sports Rehabilitation, you will play a crucial role in helping clients recover from sports injuries and improve their overall physical performance. Your main responsibilities will include assessing clients' conditions, designing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and monitoring progress.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology, as well as knowledge of various sports injuries and their treatment methods. You should also possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments of clients' conditions, including medical history and physical examination
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on the assessment and individual needs
- Implement treatment techniques such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, and modalities like heat or ice therapy
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate clients on injury prevention techniques and exercises for maintaining optimal physical performance
- Communicate regularly with other healthcare professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation
- Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and progress made by clients

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Qatar
- Prior experience working with athletes or individuals with sports injuries is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
- Strong analytical skills to assess clients' conditions accurately
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Fluency in English is preferred; knowledge of Arabic or Hindi is a plus
