Office Assistant - Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE
As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You will assist in daily office tasks and perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Receive and sort incoming mail, deliveries, and couriers
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Make travel arrangements for staff
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and billing
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred (other nationalities welcome to apply)
- Fluent in English (Arabic knowledge is a plus)
- Proven experience as an office assistant or relevant administrative role is preferred but not required
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work full-time without accommodation
Salary:
A competitive salary of 1600$ per month will be offered to the selected candidate.
Location:
This position is based in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not already living in Umm-al-Qaiwain.
