Chemical Engineer - Process Development

We are a leading chemical manufacturing company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE and we are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Chemical Engineer to join our Process Development team. As a Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new processes and optimizing existing ones to improve efficiency and quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Research, design, and develop new chemical processes for production
- Conduct experiments to test new processes and analyze data to determine feasibility and effectiveness
- Optimize existing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Troubleshoot process issues and provide solutions for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Production, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all processes
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all process development activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in process development within the chemical manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, process design, simulation software, and statistical process control (SPC)
- Experience with design of experiments (DOE) is preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)

We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month along with benefits such as health insurance, annual leave, and performance bonuses. This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own valid visa for employment in the UAE.
