Livestock Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the health and wellbeing of our livestock, ensuring high productivity and profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular health checks on the livestock and provide necessary treatments or vaccinations
- Monitor feed and water intake of the livestock and make adjustments as needed
- Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness in the animal housing areas
- Maintain accurate records of all livestock activities, including births, deaths, and production levels
- Supervise breeding programs to ensure successful reproduction and genetic diversity
- Oversee the selection and purchase of new livestock, taking into consideration breed standards and market demands
- Implement measures to prevent diseases and control pests within the herd or flock
- Train and supervise other staff members on proper handling and care techniques for the livestock

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Livestock Specialist or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field preferred
- Extensive knowledge of animal husbandry practices, including nutrition, breeding, health management, and waste management
- Ability to handle large animals with care and confidence
- Good physical stamina to work long hours in varying weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Location:
This is a full-time job located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Preference will be given to Indian nationals.
