Livestock Specialist

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for the care and management of livestock, including cattle, sheep, goats, and camels. You will work closely with veterinarians to ensure the health and well-being of the animals under your care.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily management of livestock, including feeding, breeding, and health monitoring.
- Plan and implement herd management strategies to optimize production and profitability.
- Identify and treat any health issues or injuries in the animals.
- Maintain accurate records of animal health, breeding, and production data.
- Monitor feed quality and ensure proper nutrition for the animals.
- Train and supervise other staff members in handling livestock.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in livestock management.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in animal science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with livestock.
- Knowledge of animal behavior, nutrition, and healthcare.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
