Librarian - Full Time (English Speaking) in Dubai, UAE

Our library in Dubai is seeking a full-time Librarian who is fluent in English to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection of books and other materials. This position requires a candidate with previous experience working as a librarian, preferably in an English-speaking environment.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and classify the library's collection of books and materials
- Assist students and patrons with finding and borrowing materials
- Create and maintain an organized system for tracking borrowed and returned items
- Provide support to students and patrons with research inquiries
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and reading within the community
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the library space
- Collaborate with other librarians to select new materials for the library's collection
- Stay up-to-date on new developments in the field of librarianship

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a librarian
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Customer service oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
