As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance in the management of livestock, including but not limited to cows, sheep, goats, and camels. You will work closely with our team of farmers and veterinarians to ensure the health and well-being of our animals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategies for the breeding, feeding, and overall care of livestock.
- Monitor animal health and identify any potential issues or illnesses.
- Provide advice on proper nutrition and feed management.
- Oversee herd management activities such as mating, calving/lambing/kidding, weaning, and culling.
- Maintain accurate records of animal health, production, and performance data.
- Train farmers on best practices in livestock management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in livestock technology.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing livestock.
- Strong knowledge of animal nutrition, genetics, reproduction, and health.
- Familiarity with modern farming techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train others effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with cows, sheep, goats or camels is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Arabic language is an added advantage.

Salary: $1000 per month
