Horticulturist Gardener

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Horticulturist Gardener to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a Horticulturist Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for the gardens and grounds of our clients' properties. Responsibilities:
- Designing and planning the layout of gardens, including selecting suitable plants and trees
- Planting, pruning, trimming, fertilizing, and watering plants
- Maintaining lawns by mowing, edging, and weeding
- Installing irrigation systems and ensuring they are functioning properly
- Identifying and treating plant diseases and pests
- Maintaining garden tools and equipment
- Liaising with clients to understand their garden preferences and needs
- Providing suggestions for improving the aesthetics of the garden

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Horticulturist Gardener or similar role
- Knowledge of different plant species, their growth patterns, care needs, and pest control methods
- Ability to operate gardening equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, etc.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and maintenance
- Excellent communication skills to understand clients' requirements
- Physically fit to carry out gardening tasks such as lifting heavy objects or working in varying weather conditions

Preferred qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in horticulture or related field
- Experience working in residential gardens or public parks/gardens

Salary: 1500$
Location: Al-Rayyan, Qatar (Accommodation provided)
Nationality preference: Indian (But open to all nationalities)
Language requirement: English (Arabic is an advantage)
