We are in search of a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a passion for literature and knowledge, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. This position requires experience in library operations, including cataloguing, collection development, and reference services.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the library, including circulation, cataloguing, and shelving of materials
- Develop and maintain the library's collections to meet the needs of its users
- Provide reference services to assist users with research and information inquiries
- Plan and implement library programs and events to promote literacy and engage the community
- Train and supervise library assistants and volunteers
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in library science and implement new technologies or techniques as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of library management software is preferred
