Phlebotomist

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team in Sakaka, Saudi Arabia. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and explain the blood draw process
- Verify patient information and confirm the type of test ordered
- Sterilize and prepare equipment, including needles, tourniquets, and gauze
- Identify the best vein for the blood draw and insert needle with precision
- Label and store blood samples correctly
- Monitor patients during the process to ensure their safety and comfort
- Follow proper procedures for disposing of used needles and other sharps
- Keep accurate records of patient information, including medical histories and test results
- Communicate with laboratory staff to ensure timely delivery of samples

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification or training in phlebotomy preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Empathetic attitude towards patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety standards.
