Livestock Specialist

The Livestock Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing the health and well-being of livestock on a farm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position requires knowledge and experience in animal husbandry and care, as well as strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor the health of all livestock on the farm, including cattle, sheep, goats, and poultry
- Provide daily care for the animals, including feeding, watering, and administering medication or treatments when necessary
- Maintain clean and sanitary living conditions for the livestock
- Oversee breeding programs and manage herd or flock size to ensure optimal productivity
- Coordinate with veterinarians to address any health concerns or emergencies
- Develop and implement nutrition plans for different types of livestock
- Train and supervise farm workers in proper animal care techniques
- Keep accurate records of animal health, breeding, and production data

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in animal science or related field preferred
- At least 3 years of experience working with livestock on a farm or ranch
- Strong understanding of animal behavior and husbandry practices
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit to handle the demands of working with large animals in various weather conditions

Salary: $1200 per month

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

This position is open to all nationalities. Part-time opportunities may be available for students or individuals without prior experience in livestock management. However, preference will be given to candidates with relevant education and experience.
