Junior Accountant


We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai, UAE. As the ideal candidate, you have a passion for numbers and a strong understanding of accounting principles. You will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, processing invoices, and reconciling bank statements
- Prepare and maintain financial documents such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections
- Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
- Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation as needed
- Communicate with clients or vendors regarding billing or payment inquiries
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role required; experience in accounts payable or receivable preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations (UAE experience preferred)
- Proficient with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills (English proficiency required)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
