Senior Accountant

We are hiring a Senior Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and accounts of our company. Your main duties will include preparing financial statements, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You should have a strong background in accounting and be familiar with relevant software programs. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. This is a full-time position with free accommodation, visa, and ticket provided. Women and Indian nationals are encouraged to apply. Salary for this position is $1700 per month.

As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing the preparation of monthly financial statements
- Analyzing financial data and providing insights to management
- Ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and standards
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Reviewing journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Preparing tax returns and liaising with external auditors
- Training and mentoring junior accounting staff

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5 years of experience in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Experience with relevant software programs such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
