Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, ensuring timely delivery and safe handling of the cargo.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive long haul trucks to transport goods from one location to another
- Plan and follow designated routes, taking into consideration traffic and weather conditions
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Secure cargo for transportation, ensuring it is properly loaded and distributed within the truck
- Inspect truck before and after trips to check for any defects or damages
- Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Keep accurate records of driving activities such as fuel consumption, mileage, and hours of service
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws while operating the truck

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver
- Ability to read maps and use GPS systems for navigation
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Malayalam is an asset)
- Familiarity with basic truck maintenance is preferred
- Must be willing to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Salary: 1000$ per month

Location: Doha, Qatar (accommodation will be provided)
