Senior Accountant - Abu Dhabi, UAE


Our financial services firm in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities for our company and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with local laws and regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Conduct regular audits to identify potential financial risks or discrepancies
- Communicate with external auditors and prepare necessary documentation for audits
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and local laws/regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure with strict deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification is highly preferred
- Experience working in the UAE or other Middle Eastern countries
- Fluency in Hindi or other Indian languages

Salary: $1800/month (negotiable based on experience)
