Farmer

As a Farmer, you will be responsible for the cultivation and management of crops and livestock on a farm in Abu Dhabi. This is a contract position requiring someone with experience in farming, preferably with knowledge of Indian agricultural practices. The ideal candidate should also be fluent in English and have their own visa to work in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities:
- Plant, maintain, and harvest crops according to seasonal schedules
- Monitor and tend to livestock, ensuring proper feeding, shelter, and health care
- Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, irrigation systems, and harvesters
- Perform routine maintenance on farm buildings and property
- Keep accurate records of crop yields, expenses, and sales
- Stay up-to-date on current farming techniques and technologies
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Farmer or similar role
- Knowledge of Indian agricultural practices is preferred
- Fluency in English is required for effective communication with team members and buyers
- Must have own visa to work in Abu Dhabi
- Ability to operate farm equipment and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects
- Strong recordkeeping skills for managing expenses and sales data

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of one year. Working hours are typically 8 hours per day, 6 days per week. However, flexibility may be required during peak farming seasons. The climate in Abu Dhabi can be hot and dry, so candidates should be prepared to work outdoors in these conditions.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Location:
This job is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. Candidates from India are preferred due to their familiarity with Indian agricultural practices.
