Computer Research Scientist (Al-Wakra, Qatar)


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Research Scientist to join our team in Al-Wakra, Qatar. As a computer research scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research and development in the field of computer science to improve existing systems or develop new ones. Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development in the field of computer science
- Design, implement, and test new computer systems and algorithms
- Analyze data and develop solutions to complex problems
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in existing systems
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in computer science and incorporate them into research projects
- Write technical reports and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, etc.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Matlab or R
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Science or related field
- Prior experience in conducting research projects or publishing papers
- Familiarity with biometric passport systems is a plus

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Al-Wakra, Qatar. However, we welcome applications from candidates of all nationalities who are fluent in English.
