Housekeeping Manager
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Al-Rayyan. This position requires someone with a strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations in our establishment. This includes managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all rooms and common areas are kept clean and well-maintained, and coordinating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules for all areas of the establishment
- Ensure that all rooms are cleaned to the highest standards and maintained in good condition
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any maintenance or cleanliness issues and take corrective action as necessary
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that appropriate levels are maintained at all times
- Monitor budgetary expenses related to housekeeping operations
- Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk or maintenance, to ensure guest satisfaction
- Address any guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services in a prompt and professional manner
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors for cleaning supplies, equipment repairs, etc.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Housekeeping Manager or in a similar role
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning supplies/equipment
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and managing expenses related to housekeeping operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations in a hospitality setting
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
