Dental Assistant in Al-Khor, Egypt


We are a fast-paced dental clinic located in Al-Khor, Egypt, looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients maintain their oral health and providing them with exceptional care.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and keeping the patient's mouth clean and dry
- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are stocked and ready for use
- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions and educate them on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments according to infection control guidelines
- Schedule appointments, maintain patient records, and handle billing procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients to make them feel at ease during their visit

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods
- Familiarity with dental software systems is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification is a plus
- Must have a valid biometric passport

Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$, based on experience. Accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates. This is a part-time position with potential for full-time employment in the future.
