Web Developer

In this role, you will use your skills in web development to create and maintain visually appealing and user-friendly websites. As a web developer, your primary responsibility will be to design, code, and modify websites according to client specifications. You will also be responsible for testing the website's functionality and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. You should also have experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress and have a good eye for design. As this is a contract job without accommodation, you should be comfortable working independently and managing your own time effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and coding websites using front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Developing back-end features using programming languages like PHP
- Collaborating with designers to ensure the website's visual appearance is in line with client expectations
- Conducting regular testing of the website's functionality
- Troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the development process
- Managing project timelines and meeting deadlines
- Optimizing website performance for both desktop and mobile devices
- Keeping up-to-date with emerging web development trends and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a web developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with back-end programming languages like PHP
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress
- Good eye for design and ability to collaborate with designers on website aesthetics
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently
- Excellent time-management skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience optimizing websites for desktop and mobile devices
- Strong attention to detail
