Chemical Engineer - Process Development and Optimization Specialist


As a Chemical Engineer specializing in process development and optimization, you will play a crucial role in the production of chemicals at our facility in Ar-Ruwais. This is a contract position that requires no previous experience and offers accommodations for the duration of the project.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and experiments to develop new chemical processes or improve existing ones, with a focus on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety.
- Utilize your knowledge of chemistry, physics, and engineering principles to design and implement new processes.
- Collaborate with other engineers, chemists, and technicians to troubleshoot issues and optimize production.
- Use specialized software to simulate processes and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols while working in the laboratory or on the production floor.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress reports to project managers and other team members.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in English is preferred but not required.
- Biometric passport is required for visa processing.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS is an asset.
