Housekeeping Manager - Umm-Said, Qatar


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our luxury hotel in Umm-Said, Qatar. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Train and supervise housekeeping staff in all aspects of their job duties
- Create work schedules and assign tasks to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, order replacements as needed
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services
- Collaborate with other departments such as front desk and maintenance to ensure seamless operations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient housekeeping operations
- Conduct performance evaluations for housekeeping staff and provide feedback for improvement

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role in housekeeping department at a luxury hotel or resort
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Fluency in English is required
