Petroleum Engineer - Ar-Ruwais, United Arab Emirates

As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of methods for extracting oil and gas from underground reservoirs. You will work closely with geoscientists and other engineers to analyze data and create plans for drilling operations. Your goal will be to optimize production while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to identify potential drilling sites
- Create drilling plans and monitor their execution
- Analyze data on well performance to make recommendations for improvements
- Develop models to predict oil and gas reserves in a given area
- Design methods for extracting oil and gas from reservoirs, including hydraulic fracturing techniques
- Monitor drilling operations, including pressure, flow rates, temperature, etc.
- Collaborate with geoscientists to understand the geological characteristics of potential drilling sites
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Provide technical support to other teams as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of drilling techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with industry software such as Petrel or Eclipse for reservoir modeling
- Ability to analyze data and make recommendations based on findings
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to work in a remote location with limited amenities
