Seasonal Truck Driver


We are currently hiring a seasonal truck driver for our logistics company in Umm-al-Qaiwain. This is a temporary position, ideal for someone looking to earn extra income during peak season. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to various locations within the city.

Requirements:
- Valid Indian driving license
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- At least 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a truck with a capacity of 3 tons or more according to company policies and local traffic laws
- Load and unload goods and materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs or malfunctions immediately
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation
