Office Assistant - Umm-al-Qaiwain
We are in need of a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to our office staff and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate departments
- Maintain and organize office filing systems, both physical and electronic
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and events for office staff
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and processing payments
- Keep track of employee attendance records and manage time-off requests
- Perform general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in an office environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Salary: 1400$ per month.
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. English language proficiency is not required but would be considered an asset.
