Senior Accountant


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at our company in Ash Shafa. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the biometric passport industry. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Hindi or Urdu is preferred. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Monitor cash flow and budgeting to identify potential issues or discrepancies
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions
- Review payroll transactions and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for decision making
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the biometric passport industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP)
- Proficient in using accounting software (QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, fluency in English is required, proficiency in Hindi or Urdu is preferred
- Indian or Pakistani nationality preferred
