Chemical Engineer - Process Development Specialist



We are a chemical processing company located in Ar-Ruwais, seeking a talented and motivated Chemical Engineer to join our team as a Process Development Specialist. As an industry leader in the production of chemicals, we are looking for a candidate with a strong background in chemical engineering and process development to help us continue to grow and improve our operations.

As our Process Development Specialist, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and implementing new processes to optimize our production efficiency and quality. This will involve working closely with our production team to identify areas for improvement, conducting experiments and trials, analyzing data, and developing solutions that will help us achieve our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Researching and analyzing current processes to identify areas for improvement
- Designing and implementing new processes to increase efficiency and quality
- Conducting experiments and trials to test new process designs
- Analyzing data from experiments and trials to make informed decisions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including production, research & development, and quality control
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities in processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in process development within the chemical industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately
- Knowledge of process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or ChemCAD
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the chemical industry
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to work on contract basis
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
