Cashier (Indian Nationals Only)


We are a retail store in Doha looking for a full-time Cashier who is fluent in English and has prior experience in handling cash transactions. As an Indian national, you will not only be a valuable member of our team but also bring your cultural background and language skills to better serve our diverse customer base.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service at the checkout counter
- Scan and bag items accurately while ensuring proper pricing
- Accept payments from customers using various methods such as cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues promptly
- Keep track of inventory levels to inform management of any shortages or overstocking

Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national with proficiency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently
- Basic computer knowledge for processing transactions using electronic systems
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a courteous manner
- Flexibility to work different shifts including weekends and holidays
