Housekeeping Manager


We are hiring a Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel in Umm-Said. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all rooms and common areas are kept clean and well-maintained. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies, creating schedules for staff, and handling any guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a housekeeping management role, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff
- Create schedules for staff to ensure proper coverage
- Train new employees on cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Order supplies needed for daily operations
- Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Monitor budget and expenses related to housekeeping department
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations throughout the hotel

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping management role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment used in hospitality industry
- Basic computer skills for scheduling and inventory purposes
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Hospitality Management or related field
- Previous experience working in a hotel setting
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Knowledge of local labor laws related to hospitality industry

Location: Umm-Said, Qatar (Preference given to Indian nationals)

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
