Chemical Engineer - Process Development (Egyptian Candidates Only)
We are a leading chemical company based in Riyadh, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Engineer to join our Process Development team. This is a full-time position, open only to Egyptian candidates.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in process development within the chemical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving our production processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
- Conduct experiments and trials to optimize existing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Operations, Quality Control, and Supply Chain.
- Troubleshoot process issues and provide technical support to production teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Train production staff on new processes and equipment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development within the chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques.
- Experience with process simulation software (e.g. Aspen Plus).
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month, along with benefits such as medical insurance, annual leave, and performance bonuses. This position is based in Riyadh but may require occasional travel within the region.
