Courier Delivery Assistant

We are a courier company based in Sharjah and we are looking for a motivated and reliable Courier Delivery Assistant to join our team. As a Courier Delivery Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of packages and documents to various locations in Sharjah.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the courier driver with loading and unloading packages onto the delivery vehicle
- Ensure that all packages are properly secured and organized on the delivery vehicle
- Accompany the courier driver on delivery routes, navigating to different locations in Sharjah using a GPS or map
- Collect signatures from recipients as proof of delivery
- Handle cash payments from customers when necessary
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner, providing updates on delivery times or any issues that may arise during the delivery process
- Keep track of all delivered packages and report any missing or damaged items to the courier driver
- Follow all safety protocols while handling packages and driving in Sharjah traffic

Requirements:
- Must have a valid Pakistani passport and UAE residency visa (preferably biometric)
- Fluency in English is required for communication with customers and navigating through Sharjah streets
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 20 kg) and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Knowledge of basic math for handling cash payments
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Salary:
The salary for this position is 900$ per month.
