IT Manager

As an experienced IT Manager, you will oversee the technological infrastructure and operations of our company in Umm-Salal. You will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals and ensuring that all systems, networks, and technology are running smoothly and efficiently. This is an ideal role for a skilled individual who has a strong understanding of both hardware and software systems, as well as excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of company data
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems
- Manage IT staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology to ensure our company remains competitive
- Monitor network performance to identify any issues or areas for improvement
- Implement disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime in case of system failures
- Maintain inventory of all hardware, software licenses, and equipment
- Provide technical support to employees on various IT-related issues

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, servers, and security protocols
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, Java or Python
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree preferred.

This is a contract job with a salary of 1800$ per month. Accommodation will not be provided but candidates must have their own visa. This position is suitable for men from African or Egyptian backgrounds. Fluency in English is not required but would be beneficial.
