Bank Teller
As a bank teller, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling a variety of financial transactions. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies
- Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information on bank products and services
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures to ensure the security of customer accounts and bank assets
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and targets
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in finance or banking is preferred
- Previous experience as a teller or in a customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Urdu is an advantage
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and handle cash accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with banking software and electronic equipment is preferred
- Must have a valid biometric passport for employment eligibility
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with regular working hours. The successful candidate will be provided with accommodation in Al-Rayyan. Due to the nature of the job, there may be some evening or weekend shifts required. This role may also involve standing for long periods of time.
