Librarian (Malayalee/Egyptian) in Al-Kuwait


We are seeking a dedicated and organized Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library collection, assisting patrons with research and reference requests, and promoting library services to the community.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working as a librarian preferred
- Fluency in English and Malayalam/Arabic
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of library systems and resources

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library collection, including cataloging, shelving, and weeding materials
- Assist patrons with research requests and provide reference services
- Promote library resources and services through outreach programs and events
- Train and supervise library assistants or volunteers
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions and inventory
- Stay current on emerging trends in librarianship to enhance library services
