Accountant - Sharjah Contract Position for African Nationals


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team in Sharjah on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an African national looking to gain international experience and work in a dynamic and diverse environment.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank reconciliations and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and possess excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations based on findings
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and documented
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments
- Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis
- Assist with budget planning and forecasting
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, standards, and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: 1100$ per month (tax-free)

Note: This position requires a biometric passport as it involves working in the UAE. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. English language proficiency is not required for this position.
