Security Analyst for Cybersecurity and Network Defense
As a Security Analyst for Cybersecurity and Network Defense, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's systems and networks from cyber threats. You will work closely with the IT team to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures to prevent attacks. Your duties will also include monitoring network traffic, analyzing security logs, and conducting regular security audits.
To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and techniques, as well as experience with network defense tools such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems. You should also possess strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically in order to anticipate potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber attacks
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity
- Analyze security logs to identify potential threats
- Work with the IT team to develop incident response plans
- Conduct regular security audits and recommend improvements
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in cybersecurity or network defense
- Knowledge of common attack methods such as phishing, malware, and social engineering
- Experience with network defense tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEMs
- Understanding of risk assessment methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Indian nationality preferred but not required
Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (accommodation provided)
