Cashier (Indian Nationals Preferred)



A reputable retail establishment in Al-Kuwait is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the accuracy of our cash register. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register system
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and procedures
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure correct amounts are present
- Reconcile receipts with cash on hand and report any discrepancies to management
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area at all times

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills would be an advantage)
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle money accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
